You'll walk downhill to the paved street (D. Aeropagitou) and you will enter the modern Acropolis Museum. It is the home of the statues and the artefacts that were found in and around the citadel of Acropolis.
After spending a few minutes for a lunch break at a local restaurant, we'll drive you along the coastal road. You will pass by the wonderful beaches of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni & Varkiza, heading to the Southeast point of Attica.
This is where Cape Sounion is located and where the white marble pillars of the Temple of Poseidon stand for centuries. You will enjoy a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf and its many small islands. You will visit the imposing Temple and listen to the history and legends that surround this sacred place. You will have some free time for a pleasant walk on the rocky promontory of Sounion.
