Once it is proved that the ticket has not been used, after a thorough search within the company’s database and within one month from the trip date, the passenger is entitled to receive a new ticket of the same value directly from the company.
Important booking notes
Before you proceed with your ferry ticket booking for the Greek islands, it may be useful to know that there are some particular cases where online booking may not be available or may require manual assistance. For example:
- For some ferry services, online booking may not be available when the time between the booking date and the departure date is less than 8 days, or during special holiday periods such as Easter, 1st of May and other peak travel dates.
- If your itinerary includes different ferry companies, you may need to make separate bookings, one for each company.
- The cabin or seat you selected may no longer be available. This can happen when the system shows availability, but another booking for the same accommodation or seat type is completed before yours.
- There may be availability, but our allotment for a specific departure may have been exhausted. In this case, please contact us so we can check whether an alternative offline booking solution is available.
- Some special offers or promotional fares may require manual handling.
If you encounter any of the above cases, please feel free to contact us by email or phone. Our team will check the available options and advise you on the most suitable solution for your trip.
Schedules and Availability
The online booking system is updated automatically with schedules and prices, but it displays only approved departures that are open for booking. Departures that are still pending approval are not shown. Ferry schedules are usually added gradually, often 2 to 4 months in advance, and are commonly finalized during May. For example, in February you may find some departures for the summer season, more may appear in March and April, and the complete timetables are usually finalized during May. For this reason, if your search returns the message: «Itinerary Selection. No departures for this specific itinerary. Please select another itinerary or change your date of departure», it may simply mean that the timetable for this route has not yet been released. Please try again later.
Reconfirm your departure
Like all means of transport, ferry departures may change, be delayed or even be cancelled due to operational reasons, mechanical issues, weather conditions or other factors that the ferry company considers important. We strongly recommend that passengers reconfirm their departure approximately 24 hours before embarkation with us or the ferry company or its local port agent.
