Delphi Meteora 2 Day Tour from Athens is a two-day journey through central Greece, combining ancient heritage with unique natural landscapes.

Day One: Departing from Athens, you will travel through the regions of Boeotia, passing by Thebes, Levadia and the picturesque village of Arachova, located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus.

Your first stop will be at the archaeological site of Delphi, home to the legendary Oracle of Apollo. You will explore the sanctuary and its most important monuments, enjoying the unique atmosphere of this historic site. Please note that due to time limitations, the visit does not include the Delphi Archaeological Museum. After exploring Delphi, the journey continues towards Kalambaka, passing through scenic landscapes of central Greece. Upon arrival, you will enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day Two: After breakfast, you will visit the breathtaking landscape of Meteora, famous for its towering rock formations and historic monasteries. You will visit selected monasteries, built on top of dramatic cliffs, offering spectacular views and a unique spiritual atmosphere.

Meteora is one of the most important religious sites in Greece and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Today, six active monasteries remain open to visitors, preserving centuries of history and tradition.

On the return journey, you will pass through the cities of Trikala and Lamia and make a short stop at Thermopylae to see the monument of King Leonidas.

The tour concludes with your return to Athens in the early evening.
