It’s about a geological marvel, volcanic Milos and rare rock formations that will absolutely dazzle you. This Aegean paradise is also home to the greatest number of beaches in the Cyclades, some of which were formed by ancient volcanic activity. Walk through marble-paved esplanade along the harbour in Adamas, and make a visit at the Church of Panagia Thalassitra if you wish to see one of the most breathtaking views in the Aegean Sea.
Our next stop is Santorini, with Its mighty cliffs that rise from the blue waters of the Aegean Sea. Its majestic view will make you feel like you are living a dream. So, better wake up and take a jeep safari into the island’s interior or board on a cruise to Santorini’s small islands and volcanoes. Visit the Akrotiri Village excavations, walk through the beautiful hilltop village of Fira, the island’s picturesque capital, or just drink a cold coffee in spectacular Oia Village and watch the sunset while sitting 300 meters above the deep blue sea. It cannot get more romantic than that!
From Santorini, you will wake up in the port of Heraklion, the capital of Crete. The options that await you are numerous. You may visit the Knossos Palace, the Palace of Festos, make a tour of the city or visit the archaeological museum of Heraklion. You can either walk on its well preserved Venetian fortifications or take a walk to the old parts of the port. But promise yourself to taste its cuisine and strong liquors. The loveliness and tastes of Crete and Heraklion will remain with you for a long time.
